Vinyl-Terror & -Horror joins the Sound Art track at Sonic Days 2026

What happens when vinyl records become sculptural objects and turntables become musical instruments?
Vinyl-Terror & -Horror is the artistic collaboration between Greta Christensen and Camilla Sørensen. Their practice explores the relationship between sound and sculpture by transforming familiar objects, hi-fi technology and vinyl records into immersive installations, performances and live concerts.
Working across installation art, composition and performance, the duo creates experiences where sound and visual expression are inseparable. Their works often manipulate the playback medium itself, challenging audiences to rethink both the objects that produce sound and the act of listening.
At Sonic Days 2026, Vinyl-Terror & -Horror will be part of the Sound Art track, offering a unique perspective on artistic experimentation, materiality and the creative possibilities that emerge when technology and sculpture meet.
Whether your background is sound art, music technology, installation, composition or creative audio practice, this session offers an inspiring look at how familiar tools can be transformed into entirely new artistic languages.
Sonic Days 2026 takes place November 18–19 in Kolding, Denmark. Registration is free.
