Welcome to the Sonic Days FAQ page! Here, you’ll find everything you need to know about attending, from getting to the venue to navigating the program. We’ve compiled answers to the most common questions to help ensure your experience at Sonic Days is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Getting There
Location: Sonic Days takes place at UC SYD’s new building, Universitetsparken 2, Kolding.
Public Transport: Only 600m from the train and bus stations, getting here is a breeze.
Parking: A large parking lot is right next door. It’s free—just remember to register your car at the UC SYD terminals.
Accommodations and Dining
Stay Over: With a full three-day schedule, including a pre-conference day, consider staying at one of Kolding’s cozy hotels. Check out options like Hotel Kolding, Kolding Hotel Appartments Scandic Hotels Kolding or Comwell Kolding.
There are also cheaper options, such as Danhostel Kolding and Pulzion Sportshotel.
Meals: Enjoy lunch at the our canteen or one of neighboring university canteens. As we get closer to the event, we will present different options for accommodation. The conference offers free coffee and tea.

Navigating the Venue
Find Us: Sonic College is on the 3rd floor. Don’t miss the presentations in the Atrium and Cinema on the ground floor . Check the daily boards for what’s happening or chat with our sponsors for insights (and maybe some goodies).
Taking a Break
Relax: Need to unwind? Visit our covered terraces or the studentsbar on the 1st floor. Looking for a quiet space to work? Our walkway lounges between the SDU and UCSYD building have you covered.
Connectivity and Program Access
Internet: Free Wi-Fi is available. Connect to ‘UCSYD GUEST’ and you’re set.
Conference App: Once registered, use our app, Shed, to navigate the program and create a personalized schedule. Interested in a specific track? Filter and find with ease. Explore Shed.
Participation and Feedback
Session Registration: Space is limited, and seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If there’s a session you don’t want to miss, please arrive early and queue outside the conference room before it starts.
