Founded in 1953, MPSE is an international organisation dedicated to advancing the art and craft of sound editing. Through education, professional recognition and a global community of members, MPSE has spent more than seven decades supporting sound professionals working across film, television, games and emerging media.
Perhaps best known for the annual Golden Reel Awards, MPSE celebrates outstanding achievement in sound editing while helping to raise awareness of the creative and technical skills behind storytelling through sound. The organisation also promotes education, mentorship and professional exchange, helping strengthen the next generation of sound professionals.
