Sonic College invites academic and technical staff from European higher education institutions to join an Erasmus+ Staff Training Week alongside Sonic Days 2026.
The three-day programme combines workshops, technology presentations and peer exchange, exploring current sound practices and their relevance to teaching, technical workflows and creative learning environments.
Programme
Tuesday 17 November
Immersive Audio Across Media and Live Experiences
We begin at 12:30 with lunch hosted by Sonic College, with time to meet colleagues from other institutions.
During the afternoon, technology partners present new technologies and developments in immersive audio across live sound, games, film and music. Sessions take place in a dedicated workshop room, with time for questions, professional discussion and informal exchange.
In the evening, participants can experience games, film and music in immersive formats through screenings, concerts and game playthroughs.
Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November
Workshops at Sonic Days
Participants select workshops relevant to their professional interests and development needs. Expected areas include Foley, AI and other aspects of sound production and creative practice.
The detailed programme, including contributors, workshop descriptions and timings, will be available in early November 2026.
Participation and Erasmus+
Participation is subject to approval by your home institution.

The programme outline supports documentation of the planned training activities. Sonic College provides confirmation of participation for Erasmus+ purposes.
